Skies remain clear on Monday evening as mercury drops to around 3C to start Tuesday’s day.
The upper high pressure ridge holds for the rest of the summer with nothing but sunshine on Tuesday and Wednesday when afternoon highs hover around 20C.
Temperatures soar to the low 20s on Thursday under mostly sunny skies, with autumn officially starting at 6:03pm.

The first full day of the new season will see mostly cloudy skies with highs in the high teens.
